Portrait of our festival

For more than forty years, Eufaula has played host to visitors from across the region who, in early October, would come to our Lake City with the express purpose of attending Eufaula’s Indian Summer Festival. Nestled in the Seth Lore Historic District, under the canopy of live oaks, one would find talented artisans showing and selling their wares to appreciative locals and tourists alike. Coupled with local entertainment and food vendors, this festival has become one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year,  we continue striving to improve the quality of life and to foster a deeper appreciation of the arts in our community, we are excited to invite you to EufaulaFest 2023!

The Location of our Festival

The Seth Lore Historic District and Randolph Avenue is a “canopy road” lined with ancient oaks, situated just one block north of Eufaula, Alabama’s Broad Street (downtown Eufaula). A community known for exceptional bass fishing and historic homes, Eufaula boasts over seven hundred structures that have been identified as historically and/or architecturally significant. With so many structures listed in the National Register of Historic Places, ours is a community that has a reputation as a wonderful tourist destination. Located in Southeast Alabama, Eufaula is located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River and on U.S. Highway 431. Columbus, Georiga is located fifty miles north. Dothan, Alabama is located fifty-five miles south. Regional airports in the area are Dothan, Montgomery & Tallahassee. Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson airport is approximately a two-hour drive north.
